Fronted by the exceptionally talented Niwell Tsumbu from the Congo playing electric and acoustic guitar, occasionally joined by trumpet and backed by congas, bass, percussion flute and an array indigenous instruments from around the globe, Jazmu play jazz. Jazz with many exotic flavours, flamenco, afro-beat, rumba, zouk, cha cha cha.... Jazmu can be as small as a trio or as large as an octet and regularly feature guest musicians and artists passing through Cork City who just can't wait to join in, the fun, the art, the musical synergy.
