 Lucia & Friends is a
fresh world fusion trio exploring roots music from many traditions.
A Meeting at the Crossroads is an
adventurous project where the band discovers what happens when Irish fiddle
meets Malian calabash, Indian tabla meets polyphonic vocal harmony, Turkish
belly dance meets Jazz bass, Bulgarian vocals meet Motown, Bossa Nova melodies
meet Flamenco guitar, and global consciousness meets Hip Hop.  Along the way,
they discover and ensonify new ideas to invent their own sound.  Their music is
upbeat, soulful, multi-lingual and hot.
